  • Tilera, Radware and Light Reading Webinar: SDN in the Data Center

    Nov. 04, 2013

The scale and complexity of data centers and carrier networks are testing the limits of legacy IT gear and practices. Network traffic, user flows and applications are running on top of virtual and physical appliances, slowing performance and adding latency. The migration of networking and security workloads to the cloud have created major bottlenecks for the COTS server.

Software-defined networks (SDN) and OpenFlow protocol represent an industry shift towards decoupling data and control plane and virtualizing networking and security applications. In this webinar Tilera and Radware will examine:

    • How SDN and migration of workloads are changing the server, appliance and data center
    • The potential of “IT-ing” the carrier network (i.e. NFV)
    • How heterogeneous computing addresses the new pain points formed by the migration of networking and security workloads to the cloud
