The scale and complexity of data centers and carrier networks are testing the limits of legacy IT gear and practices. Network traffic, user flows and applications are running on top of virtual and physical appliances, slowing performance and adding latency. The migration of networking and security workloads to the cloud have created major bottlenecks for the COTS server.
Software-defined networks (SDN) and OpenFlow protocol represent an industry shift towards decoupling data and control plane and virtualizing networking and security applications. In this webinar Tilera and Radware will examine:

Tilera’s CEO, Devesh Garg, will be speaking at the Evercore Partners Tech InFocus: Boston event on Wednesday, July 10 at the Langham Hotel on the topic of “The Role of ManyCore Processors.”
Every networking and cyber security workload demands complex, packet processing at high performance enabled by manycore processors. Intelligent offload, acceleration and C/Linux programming are key metrics for manycore packet processors. Join Michael Zimmerman, vice president of marketing for Tilera, and Light Reading in a webinar that will review the latest manycore processor offerings and explore how they enable high-performance L2-7 packet processing for next-generation networking and security applications ready for SDN and NFV.
Free registration can be found here. The webinar will take place on Thursday, June 20 at 8 a.m. PT.
Tilera will be exhibiting at the Multicore Developers Conference held the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara. Tilera can be found in booth S10 and will be showcasing and speaking about the TILE-Gx72. Satish Ganesan, director of marketing, networking solutions, Tilera, will be presenting at the show on the topic of “Network Intelligence on a Chip – TILE-Gx72.”
Ethernet Technology Summit
Location: Santa Clara Marriott, Santa Clara, California
Tilera’s Michael Zimmerman will speak on the topic of “Developing High-Performance Networking Applications with Manycore Processors" on Thursday, April 4 at 2 p.m. PT at the Ethernet Technology Summit. In the session, Michael will discuss how manycore processors, scaling to 100s of C-programmed/Linux cores are enabling companies to meet the challenges of the emerging programmable Ethernet network. He will also touch upon the solutions that can help them deploy more services and applications, have a faster infrastructure and lower overall costs.
The Ethernet Technology Summit focuses on the use of Ethernet throughout the networking space. This includes the emergence of 10-Gigabit Ethernet as a key LAN technology on the desktop and in data centers. It also covers the 40-Gigabit and 100-Gigabit Ethernet standards and standards efforts beyond 100GbE.
Tilera will be exhibiting at RSA 2013 held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Tilera can be found in booth #2751 at the show and will be displaying a number of technologies from the TILE-Gx processor family in addition to partner demonstrations.
Location: Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA, Booth #2751.
Location: Fira Gran Via, Av. Joan Carles I, 64, 08908 L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona
Demonstrations featuring Tilera will be found in the Procera Networks, Inc. booth in hall 5 stand 5I10. Demos will include technologies from the TILE-Gx processor family in conjunction with Procera Networks’ OEM products.

The talk will examine, in detail, how the features of the TILE-GX processor and the on-chip mesh intelligent packet processor (mPIPE) are leveraged to implement the Suricata functions and deliver high performance.
Networking and refreshments begin at 6:30 p.m. with Tom’s presentation starting at 7 p.m. PT. To register, please visit: http://sites.ieee.org/scv-cs/archives/combating_cyber_attacks. Location: Cadence, Bldg 10, 2655 Seely Ave, San Jose, CA
Michael Zimmerman will take the stage at The Linley Group’s Data Center Conference to discuss SDN compute offload. Accelerators have been widely used in data centers and networking equipment to enhance basic functionality. As the industry adapts to new protocols, server centric deployments, virtualization and software defined networking (SDN), accelerator/offload architectures are being redefined. This presentation will review a high performance, programmable accelerator for high-throughput computing. Location: Hyatt Regency Hotel, 5101 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA
GigaOM’s Structure:Europe will explore the business opportunities specific to the European market. From the minefield of regulations, green cloud, the growth in CDN, how data will travel and putting big data to work. This conference is unlike any other event, bringing together the best companies and startups in Europe. Can you afford to miss out?
